Summit County Resource Allocation Park (LANDFILL) is seeking a regular full time Administrative Manager. Someone who works closely with all administrative staff and is responsible for overseeing the day to day administrative processes including: budget development, Landfill, Recycling, and Composting budgets, Scale-house operations, compliance reporting, money transactions, accounts payable and receivable, and customer service functions at the landfill including frontline interaction with customers by phone, emails and office visits. Assists the Solid Waste Director and is responsible for implementing senior level management decisions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of: business and/or public administration and supervisory principles and practices. Sound business, financial analysis, budget skills, and finance procedures for tracking contracts and grant administration. • Extensive working knowledge of computer software programs, including: Microsoft Word, Excel, MUNIS, PowerPoint, Google, WasteWorks. • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively lead subordinates retain and support staff members, resolve daily concerns and issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, subordinates, superiors, public and private entities, Federal, State, and Local officials, customers, consultants, haulers, brokers, and the general public • Analyze, integrate and interpret data from various sources, and implement programs. Maintain a high degree of accuracy in record keeping and calculations of figures. Communicate complex information to a wide range of intellectual levels • Ability to: work and plan independently while directing and overseeing the work of others; ability to maintain concentration and multi-task in high traffic office environment with multiple interruptions from staff or citizens requiring assistance; quickly reason through complex processes and situations; evaluate performances. • Make objective judgments, exercise authority when appropriate, resolves conflicts, and maintains extremely confidential information. • Read, analyze and interpret general business written material and to solve situations as they arise. Ability to write clear, concise reports, correspondence, and procedure materials. Ability to effectively present information utilizing computer skills and respond to questions from various groups, managers, employees, customers, Federal, State, and Local authorities, and the general public.
