REPORTS TO: Director of Teaching and Learning

PURPOSE:
Under general supervision, provides support to the teaching staff of KCSD by assisting the Director and Supervisors in the Teaching & Learning Department and provides support to all staff of KCSD by assisting the Director of Human Resources. This position is responsible for supporting the departments with day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks as well as longer-term projects including but not limited to the Induction Program, Professional Development organization, Grant Maintenance as well as special projects related to employee services.

KEY PROJECTS/RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
  • Induction Program
  • Professional Development
  • Staff software related to T&L and HR departments
  • Field Placements, Student Observers, and Student Teachers
  • Coordination of vendors and agencies for recruitment opportunities
  • Grant management and reporting
  • Budget preparation and management

REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma, highly proficient and comfortable with technology and software, excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task effectively, proven work record of excellent attendance and performance. Successful candidates must present recent clearances for Act 34, 114, 151, and 168.

Previous School District employment preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE: This is a 260 day/year position with a 40-hour work week.
