Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Order Entry Associate


Status:
Full Time, Non-Exempt


Reports to:
Aftermarket Parts Business Leader


Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm


Work Location: Corporate Office – Greensboro, NC


Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant/Order entry associate will provide support to the department by entering orders, tracking shipments, filing, preparing correspondence and assisting other members of the department as needed. This position requires an individual that enjoys working in a team environment and has a strong desire to serve both internal and external customers. The Administrative Assistant must have strong written and verbal communication skills, good organization and attention to detail.

Administrative Assistant / Order Entry Associate Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work in a very busy environment and handle a busy work load dail
  • Assist in the daily tracking of parts order shipments.
  • Conduct follow-up with outside vendors to ensure parts are being shipped as expected.
  • Prepare correspondence for warranty matters.
  • Assist with the order entry and warranty process on a daily basis.
  • Maintain order files for the department.
  • Serve as a back-up to other team members within the department.


Administrative Assistant / Order Entry Associate Position Requirements:

  • 2-4 year college degree/certification preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient skill level and experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience using an ERP system is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the desire to go above and beyond for both internal and external customers
  • Must be detail oriented, results oriented and able to embrace and adapt to change, along with the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
  • Must be well organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively, collaboratively and independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
