We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks as well as marketing and creativeness Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Jewelry experience preferred as many responsibilities will rely on product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Buy and assist customers with precious metals, diamonds and gemstones
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Design and execute all advertising campaigns, manage various social media platforms
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Attention to Detail — Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Time management skills
  • Dependability — Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
  • Cooperation — Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
