The Opportunity
The Annuity Operations department is looking for a fun, detail-oriented, customer service-focused individual to join our team! As an Administrative Assistant in the Operations department, you will assist in providing support to multiple Officers and members of our management teams, as well as support our department of 250+ associates. In this highly visible role, you will also assist in creating and maintaining employee engagement initiatives and work on special projects to support the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Provides general administrative support. Tasks may include:
- Providing hybrid, comprehensive administrative support to multiple Officers, including calendar management, meeting planning, and presentations to increase their available time for strategic priorities.
- Assisting with onboarding new hires to ensure a seamless experience
- Assisting in planning and executing communication and logistics for departmental meetings and events for employees
- Participate in the preparation of budget and control activities, including preparing and verifying invoices, expense reports, etc.
- Participate in the administration of programs, projects, and processes specific to the Operations department, including attendance at meetings and preparation of meeting minutes.
- Maintain business relationships and familiarity with departmental policies and procedures and the business and organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate degree or equivalent.
Experience: 3-5 years of related experience
Ideal Qualifications
Strong communication and follow-up skills are required for this role.
A writing
sample will be required. Graphic design experience is a plus!
