The Bi-lingual Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources and Tennis departments including scanning and filing, word processing and data entry, compiling and updating departmental records and systems, reference checks, Spanish translation of written documents, in person translation, responding to general inquiries and working on various projects. He or she will provide exceptional service to internal customers and be able to answer routine questions for Team Members at all levels, from all departments. The Administrative Assistant will practice complete discretion and safeguarding of confidential information. An entry level position, the Administrative Assistant will be expected to learn and understand the basic concepts underlying the assigned work including basic principles of Human Resources Management. This is a full-time position with 3 days/week in HR and 2 days/week in Tennis. Pay range is $19.00-$25.00/hr based on experience.

Position Qualifications: *

  • High school diploma and some college; Bachelors degree preferred
  • Fluently Bi-lingual English and Spanish, able to translate in person and in writing; comfortable speaking and translating in front of large groups
  • A minimum of 2 years prior experience as an administrative assistant; knowledge of basic Human Resources functions and procedures a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn and master new programs as required
  • A service-oriented personality; warm, friendly and outgoing without being overbearing
  • Previous experience in a similar luxury environment
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders; to follow oral and written instructions and to memorize necessary information
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality and operate with extreme discretion

Environment: work indoors under artificial light in a temperature-controlled environment; frequent visits to outdoor areas; exposed to various noise levels; work with and near office machines including phones, computers, postage meters, copy/scan/fax machines, etc.
