Description:
Rennes Health and Rehab Center is currently accepting applications for a Receptionist. You will provide clerical support in an efficient manner in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by your supervisor, including but not limited to operating paging and telephone system, maintaining file systems for residents, sorting and distributing mail, and handling petty cash and resident trusts.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and follow reception schedule/instructions from your supervisor as outlined in our established policies and procedures.
• Operate paging/telephone system as required.
• Answer telephones; determine the nature of the call and direct caller to appropriate individual or department.
• Maintain a current file/listing of residents by name and room number, emergency phone numbers of on-call personnel, department extensions, and key personnel.
• Greet visitors, guests, residents, and sales representatives and direct to appropriate office and/or resident rooms or provide information as necessary.
• Order and maintain supplies as directed and ensure that supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.
• Receive, sort, and prepare monies, receipts, and deposit slips for resident trusts; as well as post receipts, act as the petty cash custodian, prepare disbursement log, write checks, balance the trusts' funds monthly, count and validate petty cash balance for reconciliation, and issues quarterly statements of trust fund activity.
• Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.
