Generations at Rock Island is seeking an Activity Aide for its facility in Rock Island, Illinois. The position available is Part-Time for every other weekend and some days during the week.

Responsibilities of the Activity Aide:

• The Activity Aide will be responsible for providing interactive and enjoyable activities for our residents
• Assist in planning, developing, organizing programs and events
• Play games and make crafts with mobile residents
• Visit bed residents on a one-to-one basis
• Participate in resident assessment and discharge planning
• May assist with resident mail delivery

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Two (2) years of Long-Term Care experience preferred
• Positive, energetic and engaging demeanor
• High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards-
• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties
