Thirwood Place, Cape Cod’s premier senior living community, is looking for a dynamic and energetic person to join our busy Activities Team as a part-time Activities Assistant.

The Activities Assistant will play an integral role in helping plan, produce, and implement an array of activities for our residents. The Activities Assistant will work 20 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday with Saturday availability a must.

Thirwood Place residents are active and engaged and look forward to a myriad of activities throughout the week.

Events in which the Activities Assistant will be involved include, but are not limited to:

-Help prepare and run Arts and Crafts activities

-Assist in organizing and attending day trips with residents

-Assist in preparing for special and regularly scheduled events including baking, indoor mini-golf, bowling and more

-Assist in regularly scheduled supermarket trips, organizing in-house musical performances, watching the pool area, and helping change seasonal decorations

-Cover the front desk as needed and work to update the Thirwood Place Residents’ Book

Activities Assistant requirements:

-Must have a very positive demeanor

-Enjoy working in a team environment where engaging the residents is the top priority

-Learning the names of all our residents and interacting with them daily in an uplifting manner
