To lead residents in a purposeful and meaningful program of leisure services addressing the four recreational areas: cultural, spiritual, physical, and social.

Responsibilities:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include but are not limited to:

1. Interview residents upon admission for assessment

2. Maintain quarterly notes on residents

3. Attend interdisciplinary meetings as required

4. Lead and participate in structured and non-structured leisure programs designed by the

Director or his/her designee

5. Record attendance of residents attending groups

6. Motivate residents to participate in programs to help increase self-esteem and self-worth

7. Preparation and implementation of projects with residents

8. Suggest and lead new and innovative programs

9. Coordinate small groups to enhance resident self-esteem

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
