Tyndale's Accounts Receivable Support Services Supervisor will oversee the A/R Support team by managing daily workflow and job activities, providing ongoing support and coaching as well as onboarding and training new members. The day-to-day operations will consist of the oversight of daily deposits, posting cash application, credit card charging and auditing, printing and mailing of invoices, and loading invoices into designated website portals. This Supervisor works closely with the AR Manager and Invoice Specialist team.

Hybrid/Remote: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance; this opportunity is a work from home role on a part-time, regularly-scheduled basis. There will be in-person events required for this role, so the ideal person must reside within a commutable distance from our Headquarters in Pipersville, Bucks County, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Motivate staff to achieve optimal performance and to maintain employee morale;
  • Provide ongoing quality assurance and ensure accuracy of payment applications;
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching specific to the needs of support staff members, including: system or technical training;
  • Manage the performance of A/R support staff, including preparing and delivery of performance evaluations, providing ongoing performance feedback on a regular basis, and for delivering disciplinary actions where needed;
  • Track attendance of support staff and provide appropriate feedback;
  • Partner with Invoice Specialists and A/R manager to provide support.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree required; a major in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting preferred; Bachelor’s degree is preferred;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Team Lead/Managerial level role required, or 2 years of relative Tyndale experience, exceeding performance requirements;
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Accounts Receivable processes required;
  • Strong leadership competency with the proven ability to provide effective guidance, training, coaching, and daily supervision to staff;
  • Effective organizational skills and the ability to establish priorities and to plan, coordinate, and monitor the entire team’s workload for maximum efficiency;
  • Ability to work independently, with a proven track record of multi-tasking abilities;
  • Experience with accounting software platforms;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, at an intermediate level.
