Accounts Receivable Supervisor - (Baton Rouge, LA)
Job description
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of a business unit providing guidance, setting standards, and supervising employees. The AR Supervisor provides oversight and management of workloads to ensure work is completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction, supervises administrative staff and conducts performance appraisals in a fair and timely manner with the AR Manager. The individual must be familiar with regulatory requirements specific to the company and ensure all employees are in compliance with those standards (Quality, Safety, ISO 17025).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledgeable with computer applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience with Sage.
- At least 2 years if experience in Accounts Receivables.
- At least 1 year of billing/invoicing experience.
- At least 1 year of lead/supervisor experience.
- Understanding of invoicing platforms.
- Ability to prioritize work, follow-up on commitments on a timely basis, work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while having strong teaming skills.
- Ability to collaborate and clearly communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of management, staff, and other business partners.
- Good project management skills.
- Ability to exhibit composure, patience, and confidence when facing difficult situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Problem solving skills.
