Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Miami Gardens FL, Hybrid 2-3x a week on site

Summary

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for monitoring the inflow of capital and the collection of payments from clients on behalf of the company

Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
• Manages creation of invoices and submission to customers according to company practices
• Research and reconcile customer accounts including unapplied payments, misapplications, and billing errors
• Creates daily/weekly/monthly reports regarding billing, collections and aging metrics
• Creates reports regarding current status of customer accounts as requested internally or externally
• Effectively communicate with customers, internal and external, in a professional manner and through several mediums of communication
• Works closely with Operations to foster effective communication and processes between Finance and Operations
• Other related duties as assigned

Skills/Abilities:

• Experience with AR specific functions and billing
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records
• Proficient in Quickbooks
• Must be reliable and comfortable meeting tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to learn other accounting software systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually while interacting with all levels of the organization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
