Agilix Solutions is looking experienced Accounts receivable Specialist for our St. Louis, MO Headquarters.


This position reports directly to the Assistant Credit Manager.


We are looking for a highly motivated, detailed, and self-driven individual with excellent organizational skills to be responsible for the Accounts Receivable Specialist. At Agilix Solutions, we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive business forward. Our accounts receivable department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash influx and collecting payment from our customers. We’re searching for a skilled AR specialist to join our accounts receivable team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The accounts receivable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued customers.


Receivable Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
  • Pays invoices by verifying transaction information from various sources.
  • Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges and refunds.
  • Verifies posting information by reconciling transactions.
  • Researching account posting and payments back up information for collection team members such as short pays and tax deductions.
  • Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation and making associated adjustments.
  • Maintain detail notes of discrepancies in payments - short pays, over payments, duplicate payments, etc.
  • Secures financial information by completing database backup spreadsheets.
  • Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
  • Obtaining information from other cash posters to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.

  • Process Credit Card payments when as needed.

  • Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
  • Access and maintain customer portals, process invoices, and pulling remittances.
  • Back up collections by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
  • Back up for credit release of orders on hold
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years AR/Cash App experience (Cash, Check, CC, EFT and Lock Bock payments)
  • Demonstrates high degree of accuracy, strong organization skills, attention to detail, with timely follow through.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and n writing to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to prioritize work and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to convey detailed or important information to team members and management.
  • Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback and ask questions if uncertain about what is needed with certain posting situations.
  • Must demonstrate Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Word/Excel/Outlook, and payer portals.
  • Good judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to employ deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work with a positive attitude and be team player.
  • Proficiency in mathematics
