We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team in Schuylkill Haven, PA! The Accounts Receivable Specialist will investigate and resolve customer billing and payment discrepancies.

Essential Job Duties

• Prepare and send customer invoices
• Prepare and send statements of accounts
• Manage incoming payments and assist to ensure payments are accurately recorded into the system
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Provide missing invoices and back-up paperwork for customers
• Relocate misapplied payments and re-bill incorrect invoices
• Run and work daily call back reports and respond to emails and phone calls
• Review accounts for delinquency and communicate with clients to request payment and arrange payment plans
• Work with third party collection teams and agents on past due accounts
• Manage communications with the agents regarding missing paperwork, incorrect rates, or other billing issues to resolve and collect payments
• Enter adjustments and deductions into Chargeback database
• Review and work account review reports in preparation for monthly meeting with management
• Review and work terminated agent reports received from management

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong typing skills and technically savvy
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Top-notch organizational skills
• Ability to quickly pivot from one task to another and remain calm under pressure
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in accounting or related field
