The Role
This role will report into the CFO and will oversee a team of three Accounts Receivable Analysts. This role will be a leader in driving best practices across multiple locations, engaging the AR team, and processing AR for one branch. Over time, the role will gain more breadth and responsibility by adding oversight of additional locations and grow into a leader of more direct reports. This is a highly collaborative role that will work closely with customers, the rest of the accounting team, and internal leadership.
Primary Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Receivable for one branch, ~30% of time
• Lead a team of three AR Analysts, including coaching, guiding, and engaging the team
• Oversee AR for multiple branches, including but not limited to AIA Billing, Maintenance Contracts, Service Billing, and Revenue Recognition
• Partner closely with customers, the AP team, Regional Accounting Managers, and internal business leaders
• Ensure proper posting of transactions, including appropriate month-end cut off

• Drive leadership within the team to use proven best practices, and improve the efficiency and consistency of the Accounts Receivable function
• Gain and maintain a strong understanding of systems to be able to guide and direct others
• Manage forward momentum of projects alongside day-to-day responsibilities
• Create and frequently monitor Key Performance Indicators
• Attend relevant training sessions and meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience
• Accounts Receivable experience of at least 5 years, including AIA and Service Billing
• Supervisory experience of 2 years
• Centralization/standardization experience
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills and take initiative to develop new processes
• Ability to organize workload and adapt to change

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Great Plains
