The facility is in process of Moving from Pompano Beach, FL to 16175 Nw 49th Ave, Hialeah, FL 33014

Must be willling to commute to 450 E. Copans Road Pompano Beach, FL 33064 until final move. Estimated move date - end of June 2023.

Responsibilities for Accounts Receivable Clerk

  • Generate invoices to customers that we ship from multiple warehouses, including calculating & adding freight charges
  • Send invoices to customers via email or EDI
  • Issue miscellaneous & monthly credit memos
  • Prepare Return Authorization documents per Customer Service’s request & disseminate documents as appropriate
  • Issue credit memos for returns based on Return Authorization
  • Download daily bank reports for Lockbox deposits and ACH & Wire Transfers received
  • Deposit checks received in the mail thru a remote deposit machine
  • Process credit card payments from customers
  • Post cash receipts
  • Research payment discrepancies
  • Perform AR Collections, maintaining a detailed history chart for each invoice & a recap chart to be used for bi-weekly meetings with Division Controller & Sales Managers
  • Monitor customer on credit hold & release their accounts when appropriate
  • Maintain & set up Customers in ProcessPro after requesting references & receiving Division Controller’s approval
  • Maintain Sales Tax Exempt Certificates for customers
  • For month-end closing verify that all shipments for the month have been invoiced prior to Division Controller performing the actual close
  • Research customer inquiries
  • Research internal AR related inquiries
  • Other duties may be required.

Qualifications for Accounts Receivable Clerk

  • College degree in accounting preferred.
  • Previous Process Pro experience a plus!
  • 2-3 years experience with accounts recievable or general accounting
  • Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong analytic abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
