SUMMARY:

Individual will process all documentation necessary relating to bank deposits and application of monies. Individual will assist collection staff with application issues.

Responsibilities:

• Process/Post bank ACH/wire transfers.
• Checks- open mail/stamp/alphabetize/scan and prepare deposits and post payments
• Process cash/checks from route pickups/ prepare deposits/ post payments
• Process credit card payments
• Prepare payment upload for lump sum credit card payments
• Other payment functions- research/ unapplied funds, preparing credit applications
• Research and resolve invoice payment issues as needed
• Special projects as requested.

Skill requirements:

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting practices
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in Office environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Solid communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and writing
• Must be a detail oriented individual
• Ability to maintain sensitive financial information
• Experience in SAP software a plus
• Ability to work between multiple operating systems

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum High School Diploma

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
