Job description
Duties and Responsibilities- Review large order progress billing report on a daily basis
- Work closely with the Parts department to ensure invoicing for both Monee initiated shipments as well as drop shipments are issued timely and accurately
- Apply cash to open accounts receivable daily
- Review open accounts receivable at least weekly to identity past due receivables
- Work with project managers to follow up on any past due invoices
- Ensure that sales tax filings using Avalara are accurate
- Maintain a roll forward of sales tax activity
- Preparation of monthly journal entries
- Reconcile general ledger accounts as assigned
- Reconcile intercompany AR/AP
- Reconcile credit card expenses monthly
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience required
- Corporate Accounting/General Ledger experience required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with EPICOR or other ERP software strongly preferred
