Job Title: Accounts Receivable Administrator


Status:
Full Time, Non-Exempt


Reports to:
Manager of Credit & Collections


Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm


Work Location: Corporate Office – Greensboro, NC


Position Purpose:
The Accounts Receivable Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely management and processing of accounts receivable records. This individual must provide a professional demeanor and excellent customer service to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers. This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities
:

  • Monitor new projects entered into ERP system and document initial delivery dates.
  • Track, request and secure Job Information Sheets from sales staff for all qualifying projects.
  • File and send Notices of Furnishing through third-party processing company on all qualifying projects.
  • Monitor lien and bond deadlines through third-party processing company.
  • Provide research and support of Lien Waiver process and completing of Lien Waivers as needed.
  • Assist in processing incoming Credit Applications from customers.
  • Determine amount of credit requested and details on initial order for new customer applications.
  • Contact credit references provided by customer and verify corporate status through Secretary of State’s Website.
  • Pull a minimum of one Credit Bureau Report from third party provider.
  • Provide completed Credit Application packet to Credit Analyst for review, approval and setting of credit limit. Upload documents to attach to customer account.
  • Communicate with customers that have balances in excess of 45 days and record activity in ERP system.
  • Address customer requests for information in a timely manner.
  • Review and approve tax exemption status of accounts and maintain documentation to support.
  • Assist with the processing of customer statements on a monthly basis.
  • Special projects as assigned.


Position Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a minimum of 2 years administrative or accounts receivable experience.
  • Experience in a construction environment preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented, results driven and able to embrace and adapt to change, along with the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines and to take constructive advantage of idle periods.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a professional environment are necessary.
  • Knowledge of MS office a must, specifically Excel.
