Construction company with over 300 million in receivables is looking to add additional talent to their accounting team.

Accounts payable

Must-have skills:

  • Accounting experience in the construction field
  • Associated degree minimum or 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Sage, QuickBooks
  • Acumatica (huge plus)
  • English & Spanish

Job Requirements:

  • Prepare monthly billing (AIA Document and invoice logs) to Owner Assist Project Manager with change orders
  • Maintain project filing system
  • Process all change orders and subcontracts for projects
  • Process Pay Application for Subcontractors
  • Monitor status of Owner Purchase Material Accounts to ensure that payments are up to date.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Trade partners and End users
  • Manage all OCIP/CCIP enrollments and related change orders
  • Match tickets, review and process invoices for Time & Material Invoicing
  • Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals, and logs
  • Follow our HTG’s established accounting processes
  • Review and verify invoices and check requests
  • Sort, code and match invoices
  • Enter and upload invoices into system
  • Track expenses and process expense reports
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Prepare and perform check runs
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Prepare analysis of accounts
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Produce monthly reports
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • On regular basis support the receptionist at the front desk, including lunch time coverage, morning/afternoon shift, and forwarding of leasing emails.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
