We’re currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist/Staff Accountant for one of our clients in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site/hybrid role, and will be based out of Pittsboro, NC. They offer an excellent benefits plan!

The client is a well-established and funded company with an excellent company culture. This role is for the individual who is seeking upwards mobility. They are seeking to start this person in the AP department, then transition them to a full-cycle accountant.

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for fulfilling the day-to-day operational needs of accounting and finance team. This role interfaces with purchasing, finance, and logistics teams internally and all external suppliers. Netsuite experience or equivalent ERP preferred. This individual must have intermediate Excel skills (ability to work with pivot tables and lookups).

Key job duties:

• Maintaining the Accounts Payables daily workflow: identifying, reconciling, and processing payment of vendor invoices within the corporate finance and banking systems.

• Management of corporate expense programs, tools, and accounts.

• Working with vendor contacts and internal supply chain.

• Processing company payments.

• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.

• Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.

• Invoice processing, billing functions, and petty cash management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
