Royal Chemical is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for our corporate office in Macedonia, OH

What we expect from you?

• Maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
• Build and manages relationships with assigned vendor accounts and internal teams
• Data entry of all invoices coming in
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and checks
• Review existing processes, structures, and systems with a focus on simplifying and standardization
• Coach AP staff and provide training, and constructive feedback to enhance their work performance and assist in building a high performing team
• Create standard operating procedures
• Cross-reference and verify your accounts payable expenses using three-way match method

This position will be involved with special projects from time to time and any other duties assigned by the Controller and/or Chief Financial Officer.

Experience/Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred
• 5+ years accounts payable experience with using three-way match
• Experience in working with a manufacturing-based ERP system is preferable
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications. (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism with external and internal customers
• Previous management experience is preferred
