Our growing Surgery Center has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable Clerk!

This position is part-time only (20 hours weekly) between the hours of 8:30am-5pm Monday - Friday. Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years accounts payable experience. Requires knowledge of Quick Books.

Position Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Supervisor: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Supervises: None

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Responsible for processing invoices and responsible for accounts payable preparation for check runs.
• Responsible for monthly bank reconciliation.
• Prepares various statistical reports and spreadsheets for cost analysis by department.
• Assists in the preparation of reports for financial statements.
• Ability to perform accounts payable responsibilities.
• Filing of paid invoices.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required:

• Minimum one to three years related experience.
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills in order to facilitate effective interaction with a variety of health care professionals and the public.
• Ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize work efficiently to achieve Center goals.
• Keyboard skills of 45 wpm minimum.
• Ability to operate a computer using, various software/software packages (preferably MS Office, Windows, Quick Books and, Excel), copy machine, fax machine and other office machines.
