The AP/AR Coordinator will be responsible for the timely processing of payables and receivables and ensuring data is collected, recorded, and input into systems, spreadsheets, and other reporting tools to support the fiscal operation of the Business.Process billing for various contracts, clients, and payments for work completed.
Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
Prepares invoices for payment by verifying transaction information, scheduling, preparing disbursements, and obtaining payment authorization.
Obtain revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges, refunds, and preparing and mailing invoices.
Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of payment concerns.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Maintains accounting ledger by posting account transactions.
Resolves discrepancies by investigating documentation and issuing stop payments and adjustments.
Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Maintains historical financial records by filing accounting documents
Assists with audits, proposals, and other financial documentation to apply for grants, proposals, and revenue reporting.
Maintains paperwork to support on-time and accurate tax filings.
