Weee! is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant who will be assisting our team, department and company grow!

Responsibilities

• Manage new vendor setups by acquiring W-9 forms from vendors and entering vendor information in the accounting system
• Validate vendor invoices and obtain appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment, ensuring credit is received for the discrepancy
• Verify each vendor account balance by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Maintain good relationships with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Review and process employee's expenses in accordance with the company's policy
• Prepare and perform check runs including but not limited to:
  • Vendor payments
  • Contract driver's payments
  • Warehouse regular operational expenses (rent, utilities, cleaning, etc.)
  • Employee reimbursements
• Keep track of the General Manager's credit card transactions and perform reconciliation
• Maintain accounting records and perform monthly account reconciliations
• Other Accounting assignments and ad-hoc reporting as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years accounts payable experience
• College degree, preferably in accounting, with a good understanding of accounts payable
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Proficient skills with MS Excel and MS Word
• Attention to detail, organized and high level of accuracy
• A demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business

Compensation Range

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000-$65,000
• This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
• Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
