Brown & Brown is looking for an Account Manager Associate to join our Commercial Lines team in Doral, Florida!
To work closely with the Commercial Lines Client Account Manager, Commercial Producers, and the Commercial Lines Marketing Rep to service new and existing accounts to achieve Agency sales goals and service standards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop a full working knowledge of Commercial Lines procedure
- Handle client request for information, endorsements, cancellations, and other services as required.
- Assist in analyzing insurance exposures and account summaries
- Assist in recommending coverages or coverage changes based upon client needs
- Be proficient in available carrier rating systems where provided for Agency use
- Review policies, endorsements, audits, and quotations prepared by our carriers for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in compilation and preparation of marketing and underwriting data, including but not limited
to: loss runs, Motor Vehicle Reports, experience modifications and FCCPCP credits - Insurance of binders, certificates, automobile identifications cards, invoices, and similar items
- Assist in resolving omitted items and commission differences when necessary
- Keep the Client Account Manager informed of any service problems
- Utilize agency automation with a high level of knowledge and proficiency
- Process incoming mail for the account
- Follow procedures as established by management
- Pursue a program of personal and professional development
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- At least two years of insurance experience
- Completion and or evidence of skills as outlined by Commercial Management
- High School Degree
- 220 License (Preferred)
