Role Summary
As an eCommerce Accounting Specialist, you will work with our Senior Accountant to provide cash process support for multiple brands across the company. This includes all revenue categories through our ecommerce site.
This position is on-site and will work out of our Home Office in Bedford, TX
Key
Responsibilities
- Provide cash processing support for multiple brands across the company
- Daily reconciliation of cash, cash transactions, and merchant statements
- Preparation and reconciliation of payment files across multiple brands
- Pull bank details, review, reconcile and record in the general ledger
- Research, document, and resolve outstanding reconciliation items
- Utilize a strong sense of critical thinking skills to develop solution-oriented results
- Prepares reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts
- Assists with month-end close process
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, statistics, or quantitative field
- Hands on experience with eCommerce software a plus
- 3+ years relevant experience in an accounting, analyst, or finance role
- Highly proficient in personal computer skills including Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to meet deliverables, learn quickly and work independently, and improve processes
- Self-starter with an ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong critical thinking skills and impeccable attention to detail
- Demonstrated communication skills (oral, written, listening)
