Accounting Specialist
- Accounting Specialist will have an active role in the monthly account analysis, monthly closing, and supervision of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and overall accounting staff and workload
- Maintains General Journal including maintenance of recurring journal entries and allocations
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
- Coordinate the monthly close
- Take ownership of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process from cradle to grave
- Assist in the compilation of information for the Company’s outside accountants for tax return preparation
- Responsible for the timely processing of accounting info so accounting software is current and up to date
- Accounting Specialist will administrate all Bank Accounts
- Will ensure the daily positive pay analysis is conducted timely
- Responsible for the daily processing requests for escrow accounts
- Must be proficient in QuickBooks
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years Quickbooks experience
- 2-3 years in General Accounting including AP/AR and General Ledger
- Good working knowledge of Excel.
