Linde + Wiemann U.S., Inc. is looking for an Accounting Clerk!
Objective of Job:
Performs a range of general clerical duties. Expected to handle communications with vendors, clients, and internal departments. Assist with inventory, data base and record maintenance. Prepare financial reports, issue checks and make deposits. Generally, ensure that the office operations are running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accounting and clerical fuctions to support supervisors.
- Research, track and resolve accounting problems.
- Compile and sort invoices and checks.
- Issue checks for accounts payable.
- Place checks in envelopes and mail.
- Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system.
- Record charges and refunds.
- Support accounting personnel.
- Input type vouchers, invoice, checks, account statements, reports, and other records.
- Open mail and match payments with invoices.
- General clerical duties.
Training/Experience:
- Two years' experience working in an accounting / bookkeeping field.
- High School diploma / GED
Special Knowledge:
- MS Office
- Account Software
- Excel
