Accounting Clerk (US Contract) - Hybrid

This is a hybrid position, candidates will need to be local to Springfield, MO and will be required to work 50% of the time in office each week.

What You’ll Do:

• Resolve overcharges on the Expedia Virtual Cards through submission to issuing banks
• Provide further evidence and information to issuing bank during hotel rebuttal phase
• Conduct analysis of data to find opportunities for rebuttal efforts
• Participate in brainstorming for and testing of new processes, systems, and tools used in collections
• Communicate clearly and effectively to convey information through emails
• Monitor and maintain work queue to ensure cases do not exceed our recovery timelines
• Complete work effectively and efficiently to achieve department metrics

Who You Are:

• Prior experience in a position that had weekly/monthly metric expectations required
• Previous call center experience a plus
• Intermediate understanding of Outlook and multiscreen usage
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to efficiently pull data from multiple systems to make sound decisions on how to submit overcharges to the issuing bank

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $25.00 per hour
