Job description
Aspire Staffing Group is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk in the Jenkintown, PA area. This is a 4-month contract opportunity, and you will have the ability to work directly with the accounting manager of this organization. This position is 5 days a week onsite. This is a great way to build your current accounting skillsets!

Day to Day Overview
- AP Functions
- Coding and vouchering payables, keying them into our system (30/week)
- Processing an ACH/Check run weekly
- Paying some items online
- Sending remittance advices
- Handling vendor inquiries
- Handling expense reports and tracking company credit card usage
AR
- Posting check payments
- Sending collection emails
- Collection calls as needed
Customer Service
- There are two customer service/support people down in the plant in NC, which this person with interact with daily
- Filing as needed
- Answering phones as needed
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience
- Degree is not required
- ERP system is Process Pro not required and easily taught a step above QuickBooks
- Excel-ability to work within Excel --basic
- AP/AR Experience is needed
