C&T Enterprises is accepting applications for a full-time Accounting Assistant at Wellsboro Electric Co. in Wellsboro, Pa.
The position entails providing efficient and accurate accounting and general clerical support to the finance department and other staff, as needed. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business desired or associate degree and/or 3 years' experience in lieu of education. Incumbent must be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include data entry, accounts payable, work order processing, asset management, account reconciliation, and assisting with inventory. Serve as backup support to other departments, as necessary. The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Microsoft Excel. Must be willing and able to collaborate with management and coworkers as well as work independently with little or no supervision. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.
