CPA firm in San Juan, PR is hiring an Accounting Assistant join their team.

Responsabilities includes but are not limited to:

• Assist with preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports.
• Analyze financial information in order to identify discrepencies.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
• Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries.
• Assist CPA with audits.
• Performs various clerical functions.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager related to the well and normal function of the firm.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance major preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel
• Fully bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties
• Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
