Accounting Analyst Job Description
Job Functions
Provide support to the Controller and the accounting department in the following ways:
- Manage billing of invoices and ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables
- Assist with month-end close and monthly financial statement preparation
- Perform monthly account reconciliations
- Assist with sales tax compliance
- Assist with annual financial review performed by external auditors
- Help support other departments with data reporting
- Continuously aid in making current processes more efficient and effective
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Ability to dive into details and be hands-on for accounting and analysis to ensure that data is accurate and meaningful
- Proficient computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $28,319.35 - $74,791.84 per year
