A very desirable employer is now hiring for their Accounting – A/R position in Rutland, VT! You’ll play a key role in building consumer relationships, so strong customer service skills are a must. This opportunity is perfect for someone with retail or service industry experience who is looking for an exciting new career. Previous accounting experience is a plus but not required, so don’t hesitate to apply!
Responsibilities of the Accounting – A/R
- Perform accounts receivable functions
- Answer phones and address customers’ billing and service inquiries
- Communicate via phone, email, and customer portals regarding balances
- Implement collection processes for past due accounts
- Document communications and manage customer accounts
- Perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Accounting – A/R
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related field preferred
- Strong customer service and computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Well-organized with attention to detail
Hours for this Accounting – A/R position are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, and one Saturday per month from 8:00am-12:00pm. Pay depends on experience, ranging from $17-$20/hour.
