• Oversee financial reporting, General bookkeeping and management of bookkeeping reports, Accounts Payable, Work with AR employee, Payroll, 401(k), Bank Statements.
• Perform duties related to bookkeeping, including accounts payable, payroll and overall financial reporting
• Accounts Payable –
  • Process accounts payable and cash disbursement functions..
  • Maintain vendor files.
  • Act as primary contact to vendors.
  • Scan invoices and BOL’s; match receiving tickets with invoices and receive approval for payment
• Payroll & 401(k) -
  • Oversee all aspects of payroll; Prepare weekly payroll for 50+ employees.
  • Maintain employee records.
  • Ensure employee hours are correct.
  • Work with third party insurance and 401(k) providers to ensure employee records and withholding are up to date.
  • Prepare quarterly payroll reports.
• Prepare month end bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account reconciliations; Submit financial information to accounting firm for monthly reporting.
• Prepare W-2 and 1099 forms.
• Prepare multi state sales tax returns, ensure all returns are paid on time.
• Business development –
  • Conduct monthly financial meetings to report financial information to management.
  • Recommend fiscally advantageous methods to save money and increase efficiency.
  • Advise management on tax ramifications of business decisions.
  • Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget development.
• Oversee budget and financial management; Maintain company financial records; Create budgets and analyze spending.
• Audit accounts for errors, misinformation, fraud, and overspending; Identify and investigate variances.
• Act as a consultant in areas such as compensation, benefits, and asset protection.
• Assist in overall compliance – including safety, regulatory, and HR.

• Minimum 3-5 years accounting experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• QuickBooks experience preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
