Job description
Our client is looking for an Accounting Associate to support the team on a temporary basis. The Accounting Associate will be responsible to work within all aspects of accounting specifically supporting cash application and billing. Position will be onsite in Green Bay, WI.
Position Responsibilities:
- Post customer payments by recording cash checks and credit card transactions
- Prepare and submit all billing in a timely manner
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the standard costs
- Support and answer vendor inquiries
- Serve as backup for the accounts payable team
Position Requirements
- Associates degree required, Bachelor degree preferred
- 1 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, database and accounting software
- Hands- on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
