We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our family office team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial activities and ensuring accurate and timely reporting for our family office. You will collaborate closely with our financial team and stakeholders to maintain financial records, prepare financial statements, manage budgets, and provide financial insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Financial Record Management:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the family office.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage the chart of accounts and ensure proper coding and classification of transactions.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Present financial reports to management and family members, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets for various projects and family investments.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather financial data and prepare accurate forecasts.
• Track actual financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.

Financial Analysis and Decision Support:

• Conduct financial analysis to support investment decisions, acquisitions, and other financial projects.
• Evaluate the financial performance of investments and provide recommendations for optimizing returns.
• Collaborate with investment managers and advisors to monitor and assess investment portfolios.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient financial procedures.
• Streamline financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and timeliness.
• Continuously evaluate internal controls and propose enhancements to mitigate financial risks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
• Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role within a family office or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) for financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
