We do too! Join our team as an Accountant to assist with general accounting tasks, such as accounts receivable, payables, general ledger, and account reconciliation. You will also be an integral part of implementing a new accounting system and processes.

Your Work Will Include:

Weekly Responsibilities:

• Organize and code all invoices
• Process accounts payable checks/EFTs
• File invoices
• Track PA sales/use tax and pay semi-annually
• Research and answer vendor and employee inquiries on a timely basis
• Monitor and contact vendors regarding uncashed checks

Monthly Responsibilities:

• Invoice publishing partner for services rendered
• Allocate Health/Life Insurance invoices by person/department
• Process invoices accruals and reversals
• General ledger account reconciliation
• Manage prepaid software allocations
• Manage fixed assets

Other Responsibilities:

• Process state tax estimates and extension payments for shareholder taxes
• Document new processes
• Manage retention/destruction schedules and policies
• Order accounting supplies as needed

A Qualified Candidate will:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Have 1-2 years’ experience
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office and at least one accounting software program
• Be able to work independently
• Be detail oriented and organized
