Primary Purpose:

In this Accountant role, you will support the Fayetteville plant with labor analysis, inventory and fixed asset activities, and related journal entries and reporting. The Accountant supports an effective functioning internal controls system in compliance with SOX, company policies, and US GAAP. Additionally, the Accountant assists the Plant Controller with the monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close and financial reporting.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include support of monthly and annual activities such as raw material, WIP and MRO cycle counting and physical inventories. Analysis of various income statement and balance sheet accounts including CWIP. Assist the Plant Controller in projects aimed at improving internal control processes.
  • Assist in ensuring internal controls are functioning properly including assistance with maintaining narratives for SOX processes such as Inventory Management and Fixed Assets. Support SOX and internal control testing requests.
  • Provide support for the payroll function consisting of reporting and labor analysis, and associate inquiries.
  • Supporting the Plant Controller in the monthly, quarterly and year end accounting close process.
  • Support local operations teams on cost control, cost reduction initiatives and ad-hoc requests.


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business field
  • 2 or more years of experience in Accounting


Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products, SAP is ideal.
  • Interpersonal skills that establish/maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly
  • Ability to support accounting/finance decisions with logical evidence and persuasively present position
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP for complex transactions and familiarity with internal controls in compliance with SOX
  • Good presentation and communication (written/verbal) skills
