We serve the residents of Hamilton County in more ways than you may realize! In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day accounting functions for the Planning + Development department.
Summary of Job Duties:
- Prepares, maintains, interprets and analyzes detailed inquiries regarding financial documents.
- Works with other administrative ad operations personnel in the department on day-to-day fiscal issues.
- Tracks payments and encumbrances for capital projects.
- Reviews invoices, processes direct vouchers and invoices into the Performance Accounting system by assigning appropriation codes.
- Manages funding for multiple sources including State and Federal grants.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in accounting, finance, public administration or related discipline
- one (1) to two (2) years related experience
- and/or equivalent combinations of training and experience which indicates an advanced knowledge of accounting and public administration
- demonstrable ability to prepare complex financial reports
Work Location and Hours:
- 138 East Court St. Cincinnati, Oh. 45202
- 40 Hour Work Week, generally between core hours of 7:30-5:30
