LOCATION: Remote / Work From Anywhere

We’re looking for someone to assist with our sales growth—- t​​he engine that fuels the way we do business. And because you possess a balanced blend of critical thinking, marketing savvy, customer management, sales expertise, and leadership, you will be the right-hand person to the CEO.

You will develop processes to support our growth while maintaining our core values. The role will also keep our management team plugged in and develop a way to evaluate & grow performance. You’re just as enthusiastic about growing profits as you are fostering connections with the individuals on your teams as well as prospective clients. You learn and move quickly and are the pinnacle of organization, growth, flow, and closing loops.

This is a US remote based position and an opportunity to be a pioneer in AtkCo's growth outside of our Chicago headquarters. AtkCo is a lean agile product design and training firm. We are Agile in everything we do- and agile practices are at the core of how we work and do business. You will be the pioneer for AtkCo’s sales team. You will define and lead the Sales, prospect, qualify, pitch, and close sales within our commercial segment. You will talk to sales prospects every single day. Our strongest account executives stay on top of the details and excel at communicating a vision beyond them.

We innovate ways of working to impact how clients go to market and compete in a high growth and constantly changing marketplace . Just six years into AtkCo, we have strong relationships with companies like CDW, Discover, Chevron and many more. We are building something important for businesses to be intentional about how they communicate, and it is making them successful. Now, we need you to help us bring the platform to even more businesses around the world.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Know how to make a forward-thinking sale—you can capture the unique vision of what AtkCo does and encourage executive sales prospects and customers with a sense of what’s possible
  • You come with enterprise sales experience. Sales experience specifically in the talent and HR space is a huge plus
  • Have the ability to thread a sale through multiple prospects and personas within an organization
  • Are an excellent communicator, verbally and in writing—Atkco stands for editorial quality, and you do too
  • Like to win and you play with integrity in mind
  • Have a record of testing new sales strategies to improve your sales processes and customer experience
  • Understand what it means to compete as part of a team
  • Are results-minded and see how to capitalize on the diverse strengths of people around you to succeed
  • Have a sales perspective that loves technology
  • Have experience running the full sales cycle—From the demonstration pitch to bringing the partnership across the line
  • Have met or exceeded $1.5M of new business annually
  • Thrive in moments of ambiguity and fill gaps where you find them
  • Have a point of view but are low ego

We’d be especially excited if you’ve worked closely with marketing and business development partners in a business to business enterprise startup before. If you have any prior experience in recruitment, consultative sales, tech, or ways of working don’t forget to mention it.

Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits and equity upon requests.

Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted up to or over 100% of the offered base salary (no cap). Disclosure as required by the Colorado Equal Pay for > Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101 et seq.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
