WPP Shared Services is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will be responsible for timely invoicing to clients.
Location: Remote based out in either New York, NY or Portland, OR
Responsibilities:
- Manage billing activities for a portfolio of Clients
- Follow internal billing processes for Client portfolio
- Maintain billing timetables for Client portfolio, capturing any specific calendar dates relevant to
- Client billing cycles, Intercompany deadlines (aligned to WPP Group Reporting calendars),
- Client Fiscal Year requirements, and Business Unit Year End requirements.
- Utilize Financials software to finalize billing and credit notes for Clients
- Finalize Client billing in a timely manner, with required supporting documentation, in line with agreed and documented Client billing processes and timelines and the Global SLA
- Ensure the agreed process for monitoring Credit Notes is adhered to
- Monitor Credit Note activity for unusual trends and provide warning signs of potential risks
- Deliver Client billing via the required channels
- Respond to billing queries at the earliest, involving all parties required
- Ensure Client master data records accurately reflect correct Client and billing details and agreed
- contractual terms
- Provide reports and participate in weekly Client review meetings with business Units to provide status updates on billings and overdue position
- Support Business Units with expertise and guidance regarding billing
- Attend Business Unit and/or Client meetings when required
- Assist with internal, external or Client Audits as needed
- Provide holiday and sick cover for colleagues as needed
- Manage Ad-hoc projects, as directed
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3 years' billing experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
In New York City, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $85,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
