Overview of the Role

  • Our Costco team is growing, and we are looking for an Account Manager, Sales Operations to act as liaison between our clients and Costco Wholesale to support our Sales Team in their efforts to increase sales and onboard new clients.
  • Must be local to San Diego, CA; in-office position for the first 4 months of training then will transition to hybrid with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote
  • Salary range for this position is $62,000 – 82,000

What You’ll do at C.A. Fortune

  • This is a customer service intensive position
  • Onboarding New Clients and putting together pricing proposals for Sales to present to Costco buying
  • Daily PO tracking and updating GenWeb portal
  • Reacting and resolving issues as they come up on daily basis with regards to logistics delays or order shortages and communicating in a timely manner with Costco
  • Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with Costco and clients and be available and responsive to their real time needs
  • Providing all item/system maintenance, new item submissions and promotional support, etc.
  • Ability to complete necessary paperwork and assist clients in completing
  • Little to no travel involved

What You Should Bring to the Table

  • Reliability, we are looking for a team player that shows up on time every day
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good experience with computers and virtual live meetings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Good math skills, ability to calculate value at cost and sell
  • A highly resourceful team player, with the ability to be extremely effective independently
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with clients, customers & colleagues

You Will Stand Out if You Have

  • Previous Costco or CPG experience
  • Experience working with a food broker that sold to Costco
