Sales/Key Account Manager: Primarily responsible for new account acquisition and key account management.

National Rarities is a premiere estate-buying company located in St. Louis, Missouri.

Partnering with jewelers across the nation, National Rarities offers 3-4 day estate buying events that give customers an opportunity to bring their unwanted valuables for an honest appraisal and a no-obligation offer. We are looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Senior Sales/Key Account Manager to to acquire new clients, facilitate growth and manage key accounts. Ideal candidate will have direct experience in sales, account management and working tradeshows. Responsibilities include serving as a client advocate and working with internal departments to ensure client needs are understood and satisfied. This candidate will be responsible for growing the company's revenue by identifying new business opportunities, making appointments, presenting our services, booking new clients, and attending industry trade shows. Collecting and analyzing data from events and working with the marketing team to make changes that will help improve event performance is also an expectation. This position will require travel throughout the United States. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales.

There is a preference that this candidate live in or be willing to relocate to St. Louis, MO. In addition there is a preference for this position to have 5+ years previous sales experience.

Sales/Account Specialist Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, sales, or related field.
● Proven experience in key account management.
● Advanced computer software proficiency (word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint, CRM)
● Strong financial acumen.
● The ability to build rapport with clients.
● The ability to handle multiple client accounts.
● Strong listening, questioning and negotiation skills ‐ outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
● 5+ years experience of managing and expanding accounts and relationships in sales.

(Experience working with retail jewelry stores a plus)
● Disciplined time management and ability to work under pressure in a cross functional environment.
● Excellent oral/written communication, presentation, management, analytical, and decision-making skills are essential.

Reports to Director of Sales

Sales/Account Specialist Responsibilities:
● Develop and sustain solid relationships with key clients. This includes booking events, working

with the marketing team to properly advertise for the events, gathering data from the event and properly analyzing to make future decisions for the event/client.

● Develop a thorough understanding of clients' needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions.

● Act as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams.
● Develop an intimate understanding of National Rarities’ business and be able to properly communicate that to clients/potential clients.
● Assist buying teams assigned to each client and at times join them on events to gain a better understanding of the event process and client needs.
● Communicate and collaborate with the advertising, design, marketing, sales, and logistics departments to ensure that clients’ needs are met.
● Compile reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts.
● Persist in sales even in the face of failure.
● Research client base to find new types of customers and sell to them accordingly.
● Create a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them.
● Analyze and create a plan for engaging the target market.
● Analyze the competition to create a plan for engagement.
● Train others in the art of selling.
● Help ensure that all salespeople meet quota during a given period.
● Set up booths at trade shows, build relationships and sell our events to new clients.
● Demonstrate superior time management skills and meet sales deadlines.
● Contribute to collaborative efforts and organize promotional events.
● Coordinate with the marketing design and content teams to generate digital and print advertising material.
● Maintain and update impeccable records of prospecting metrics and results of past campaigns.
