Position Summary:
We are looking for a passionate, creative, and driven account manager to join our commercial and national account team at Guardian. The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. The account manager will have a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service. The primary scope for this role is to serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to customer concerns and needs, making sure customer needs are being met and understood by each department in the company. This position will be an integral partner handling any customer complaints, working to find solutions to any customer issues and partnering with other departments to ensure customers are experiencing a positive customer-company relationship. The position will help us build meaningful, long-lasting relationships that move our business forward.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop detailed knowledge of commercial/national new account creation cycle, billing, accounts receivable, and service processes
  • Responsibility to execute all required paperwork, communication, and scheduling for commercial/national Reactivations, upgrades, and name/entity changes.
  • Maintain a regular cadence of communication with top commercial/national key points of contact
  • Primary commercial/national sales point of contact for account maintenance activities, Edge Pro and Alarm.com Commercial Enterprise training for a potential new end user.
  • Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests
  • Collecting and analyzing information concerning customer behavior and feedback to understand changing needs, and provide ongoing analysis and recommendations
  • Acting as the customer’s representative to ensure that their needs are met with a focus on improving the customer experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with customers
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers
  • Proven track record of receiving positive customer feedback
