AT A GLANCE

The Marketing Associate (Strategic Solutions Development) serves a critical role in BDS Connected Solutions’ growth priorities, working cross-functionally to support the strategies, tactics and administration of the organization’s marketing and business development. The core responsibilities include but are not limited to: new business development documentation, current client documentation, client relationship management system, sales process execution and project management, prospect research and proposal preparation.

OVERVIEW

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • In conjunction with business development and client services functions, support revenue growth by developing proposals and providing support throughout the sales process, leading to opportunity conversion.
  • Efficiently support the sales process through project management, coordinating and collaborating cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders, communications, tracking assets, and close adherence to deadlines.
  • Develop creative and compelling sales and marketing content and storytelling assets, to be presented via proposals, presentations, and other deliverables.
  • Analyze business processes and collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities to streamline processes and measure the results of activities.
  • Support the strategies, systems, tactics, metrics, budgets, resource requirements, and action plans to grow and support revenue targets.
  • Implement and manage an enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and provide support for business development, finance, and internal client teams.
  • Track and report on performance and productivity of the sales process.
  • Build and maintain a collaborative environment by emphasizing teamwork.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred. Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing, sales support, or proposal development in sales conversion environment.
  • Experience developing sales strategies, tactics, and performance metrics within a team environment.
  • Experience with popular CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) preferred.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven ability to effectively interact with Senior Level Executives
  • Exceptional written/oral communication skills
  • Advanced computer application skills such as Microsoft Suite of applications, specifically PowerPoint.
  • Able to effectively manage a cross-functional team and drive projects to completion.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, leadership ability, and team player at all levels
  • Solid business acumen and ability to learn entire business model
  • Ability to execute independently when applicable and adhere to deadlines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
