Who are we?

RMI is the creator of ADVANTAGE 365, a full business ERP software for companies that rent, sell, and service equipment. Their software manages businesses with hundreds of thousands of trailers, shipping containers, medical devices, environmental equipment, and construction equipment across the US and in 14 countries. Since 1983 RMI has been delivering their premier business software in the Cloud and is now built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central’s platform.

What will you do?

Become an account executive and build a recurring book of business every year with warm leads for a B2B Software as a Service (SaaS) company. Account Executive role is that of an active listener. The AE will learn what problems our software needs to fix for each prospect, send applicable videos and materials, and prepare and deliver a demo. This is a remote position with warm leads. Occasional in-person events will be required for attending trade shows or semi-annual company meetings.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communicating with clients and gathering information about a project’s scope, budgets and timelines
• Meeting with other executives to discuss clients’ project goals, progress and outcomes
• Reporting and recording all sales activities in a web-based CRM system
• Qualifying inbound WARM LEADS and prospects via phone, email, and virtual meetings
• Uncovering and understanding a company’s needs
• Occasionally attending trade shows
• Holding virtual demonstrations with an end goal of earning a prospect’s business
• Preparing and presenting proposals and other documentation to prospects

Primary Qualifications:

• Degree in business related degree and/or six months to one year of Sales experience or related position
• Good customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of Windows applications
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

This position may be 100% remote. The candidate would need to have a suitable work environment set up as their home office and be comfortable managing their own schedule in a non-corporate office environment.
