Job Title: Account Executive – Energy and Utilities
Department: Sales
Accountability: This position reports to the Enterprise National Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop, and actively maintain, a Market Specific Energy and Utilities Business Plan
- Build, Maximize, and Maintain all Access Points to this market place:
- Technology Partners
- Vehicle OEMs
- Resellers
- Distribution Partners
- Ecosystem Affiliates
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and clients
- Document customer interactions and maintain data related to activities, accounts, and partners.
- Work with Engineering on new and existing product research and development.
- Work with Product Team to recommend new services and product enhancements to improve sales potential and customer satisfaction
- Utilize Havis Independent Representatives in sales activities and business plans
- Maintain in depth knowledge of all Havis product lines, business processes, and sales tools
- Work with Havis Marketing Department to help drive joint marketing activities with reseller & ecosystem partners
- Attend marketing events and trade shows to promote company products and services
- Monitor competitive products and competitor’s sales activity within assigned territory
- Monitor and maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in professional societies, and establishing personal networks
- Analyze Market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
Requirements:
- Dynamic, energetic sales professional with proven success developing and executing a sales plan
- Prior Energy Services experience is preferred
- Ability to have C-Suite level conversations
- 10+ years of successful sales experience (technical products preferred)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and account management skills
- Ability and desire to travel up to 75%, 50% likely
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience MBA/Master’s degree a plus
- Exceptional presentation skills both live and online (Webinar)
- Ability to maximize use of time by effectively using available technology to capture and quickly communicate meeting notes, agreements and next steps
- Fluency in use of MS Office suite of products
